It’s no secret I enjoy photographing in nature. There is something so beautiful about using the elements of the different seasons in the backdrop and Knole Park in Sevenoaks certainly is the ideal location to observe and capture these changes in season.
When I first moved to Kent, I created a Pinterest Board named Fern which you can see here. My vision for it was to shoot maternity photos amidst the beautiful fern and large trees in the park showcasing the natural beauty of being pregnant and the capturing the connection between the mum and baby during this beautiful time in the bump. Then I met Emma. We chatted and realised that we have the same vision for these photos and started planning to bring this vision to life.
We met on a gorgeous autumn afternoon in Knole Park when the rain had just stopped and the intense autumn sunshine just started to peak through. We walked through the park and managed to capture various shots – some semi-nude, some in this beautiful white dress pictured above – and both Emma and I are so pleased with the results.
Thank you Emma for entrusting me with capturing your maternity photos.
